Sounds like a result....well done !

And dont feel too bad - I heard a storey about a chap who picked up a 1098s new from the dealers, set off from the car park, gave it too much gas and stood it on the back wheel, hit a traffic sign opposite the dealership before it ricocheted in to the road and got run over by Mitsubishi Evo and written off - he made it all of 15 yards!!!

the best thing you can do is buy it back of the insurance for a small fee and you have yourself a perfect track day bike then buy another 999 for the road

Put some cheap repro ones on until you get the proper ones! at least you will be able to ride ya bike
