New Member - Thinking of buying a Ducati 999s

Hi,
Just joined today & thought it only polite to say a quick hello.
Have been riding for the last 15 years and followed Ducati models since the 916 came out but now seriously considering a 999s however not having ridden a one I'm not too sure what to expect (currently riding a '98 blade, describe myself as very steady but would like to "progress").
Anyway, the nearest dealer to me is M & S in Newcastle - anyone had any dealings (good or bad) with them? Also what do you get when you buy a 999s eg race kit as a bunch of extra parts over & above the standard bike or are they fitted from scratch? Will the Termi exhaust pass an MOT when the time comes?

Cheers for now,

Gary

Re: Hello - new member intro

howdie Gary

M and S are "OK" but you may want to head to Ducati Leeds or Glasgow and check them out . S has ti rods, better suspension and comes with the steel termi can which won't pass an MOT.

It seems that all the pictures of the 999s's I have seen are RED but the catalogue shows glossy black available too - does anyone have a black 999s (to be different)
