999 Tank protector

I am looking for a tank protector for my 999.

The pad on the tank means that generic protectors wont fit, without some untidy bodging. I asked at JHP. but they cant source one. Anyone any ideas? What do other 999 owners do??

I have a really nice one in red, which matches the paint, on my 748, and I would like something similar for my 999.

I have a carbon fibre tank protector on my 999!

I got it from a Ducati dealer.

I am sure somebody with a better knowledge will be along later.

Try this product.

The Tankslapper. A clear non adhesive tank protector for your sportbike.

I've had it on my 999 for about 3 years now. It's a clear film which comes in 3 sections, one for each side of the tank and one for the rear. It's not adhesive, you apply it with water and a squeegie.

Mine still looks like new and it can be removed and re-applied.
