Error Codes

Battery wouldn't start the bike recently, so a new battery was fitted and bike works like a dream.
However, have the engine management light showing and have checked the error codes which shows:

'18.2' RH Fan shorted to earth.
and
'37.3' Immobiliser (serial cable disconnected)

Does anyone know how to sort this out or had similar problem?

Look at where your key goes in, there is a wire that runs from underneath it.
Follow that wire down until you reach a connector. Make sure it is seated properly.

Does this fix the warning?

If not, then take the cover off the key holder and check that the immobilizer transmitter is seated properly.

Do the same with the fan wire by tracing it back but also make sure it is not damaged anywhere.
