OE Carbon side panels

Does anyone know if the carbon side panels on a 999r are the same regardless of year? Will the panel from a 2004 fit a 2006 and vice versa? I've looked up the part numbers on Ducati.com and i'm even less clued up than i was before.

that they will be different - 2 different swing arms & different exhausts etc

Khushy you are right, i've 'conversed' with Wilf and Richard @ MotoRapido and the concensus is that the later panels flare out to fit the swingarm and therefore will fit early and late machines, whilst early panels will only fit early bikes because of the aforementioned swingarm. Ta muchly.
