Ducati 999 Error Code 34.0??

Having just got my 999 back from the garage after spending £500 getting the starter motor replaced I thought all my problems were behind me, I was wrong. Tried starting it today and the engine management system cut it out before it would start. I held the left button and turned the key and EF1 34.0 flashed up. After looking it up I found it was the Signal Panel Sensor, but I have no idea what it is?

Any ideas or help would be welcome, as I dont need another massive garage bill this month!

Thanks in advance, Dale

Oh and I noticed a puff of smoke come out of the air intake on the front of the bike??

As soon as the bike tries to start, the EOBD light comes on and it cuts it out. If you need anymore info then let me know, cheers, Dale

Well the signal panel is your dash, pop that off & re-seat the connection for starters. Be careful not to push the rubber grommets through, patience or lube required.
