Double bubble screen
Any one on here fitted a dark tink airflow screen from Powerbronze.. Had one on my last bike. A TL1000R and was very pleased with it.. Would like to see what they look like on a 999.
Nick.

Not sure about the manufacturer,
but if you are a tall bloke then a db on a t9 is a good idea.

Yeah thats why I want one.. I'm 6'2" and look at the idiot lights through the standard screen!!! Plus ofcourse a tinted double bubble looks good.
Noticed there are some cheep db screens on eBay for around £29.. Wonder what they are like.

Not the best angle to see it, but this is mine with an Airflow screen on. I'm 5'11" and can see the warning lamps fine now. It does gives a lot more wind protection, but has the unfortunate side effect of putting more weight on your wrists on long runs. You also get the option to remove that stupid lamp.

I'm 6ft 1in, and I have recently put a fabbri DB on my 749 and whilst it is a huge improvement over the standard screen the airflow has moved from my chest air to the neck area.
As a concequence I have lowered my overall position on the bike, which is no bad thing and the screen works a treat.
Think I paid £45
Fitting is easy providing you take the nose cone off.

That looks smart.. Think I would get rid of the running light too.. Also like your twin silencers. Lovely looking bike.

Well I bit the bullet and bought the airflow screen from Powerbronze. Purely based on how pleased I was with the screen I fitted to my TL1000R.
It's the dark tint with out cut out for running light.. Only took 30 mins to fit. I didnt remove the fairing. There was enough give once the mirrors were off to get to all the fasteners.
Really pleased with it.. Recommended!! At the moment only £33 from Powerbronze untill 30th June, then back to £49.00
I'm over six foot, but can see the warning lights fine now

Make sure you glue the trim on Nick. If it's anything like mine, it will come off at speed. Looking good though.

Yes, would love to.. Will look out for meets and ride outs. Really luving 999 ownership after two weeks. I was a long time TL owner. Always wanted a 999 since the NEC launch in 2002. So far it's everything I expected and more. The new 1098 and the latest crop of superbikes just domt do it for me.. I just dont fit them.. Can see me keeping my Bip for a few years to come. Then maybe a nero black 'S'

Midsomer Norton? Why, it's only down the road! (I live in Trowbridge, work in Bristol)
Still, I never get my ass into gear to go to any meets either. I'm never up early enough on a Saturday morning to make Riders!
