Slipper Clutch Problems

Could somebody give me some advice please?

I have just bought a 999 BP with a slipper clutch fitted (unsure what type) and it turns out the clutch is slipping like mad and i think it needs replacing. Is there any way of telling what make or type it is? Do i need to replace the whole clutch including basket etc or is it just a question of new plates?

Would it be advisable to fit a standard clutch and has anyone got any idea of cost?

Thanks

photo of the thing might help ?. new plate pack £120 ish, spyder spring £40 ish(if broken).
basket all depends on which type it is or you want to fit.
might just want a good clean,
but your going to have to take a look at it not hard to do.
