Question 999 discs????

Advice needed please,

Im thinking of fitting a set of fully floating brembo discs to the 999. As I understand it, the standard items are semi floating.

I am looking at the Clubman racing discs at 5mm thick or the HPK discs at 5.5mm thick.

Anyone here used either of em?? Any good??

Any feedback would be helpful etc.

Hi mate,

I have the 1098 calipers fitted at the moment. Fancied upgrading to a fully floating disc to improve this a bit more.

I think I saw your bike at Moto Rapido a few weeks ago. It was in the workshop when I dropped mine off. Must say I thought the carbon wheels were very nice and the upgraded carbon airbox etc.

Very nice.

I ran the fully floating cast Brembos last year on my DD race bike. They were ok.....this year however, I have changed to a single wave disc, PF 07 pads and an IRC Master Cylinder. Stonking brakes, far better than the pair of Brembos......I sold mine.
