Ducati 999s - What is it worth?

My 999s has to go I'll probably get another one one day but I need the cash right now.
Classified section doesn't seem to link properly.
It's was registered July 2004 with termi's, carbon side deflectors, black giles rearset(not fitted in picture), polished link pipes, lightened flywheel. 7600miles, full service.
What should I be asking for this. Asking prices seem to vary from about £6900 up to £7900. Are yellow ones worth any less(I wanted yellow but not everyones favourite)

It's worth, is what anyone is prepared to pay for mate

Just stick it in the classifieds at the higher price and wait and see.

You can always come down in price

Good luck.

Hi Jamie

I have just sold my 03 999s and it was dripping in extras, full 57mm termi system, loads of carbon, rear sets, open clutch, private plate, I think my ad is still in the classifieds on this site (won't open today for some reason). I traded mine in and got £6700.00 for it...but the dealer said he would probably put a lot of the std bits back on to make some extra money out of the deal.

3X only offered me £5700 with or without all the extras which new cost 4k!!!!!

I would have thought I would have got £500-750 more had I sold it privately so £7.2-7.5 for my 03 with the goddies on.

Hope this helps

You always get more money if you put the bike back to standard and sell the bling separately on ebay. That's what I'd do.

Do wish you lot would stop posting pictures of yellow 999s.....damn they look good in yellow

Wish I could afford a 999R in the proper colour AND a 999 in yellow
