A basic guide on how to do it:
1. Login to the site.
2. Click on 'Quick Links' in the navigation bar.
3. Select 'User Control Panel' from the options that appear.
4. A new page will appear with lots of options down the left hand side, select 'Edit Avatar'.
5. Another new page will appear and in that page you can upload a picture for your Avatar, which is the image that appears next to all your posts in the forum.
However please note that the maximum size of your Avatar image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller), but if you're not sure what this means as a last resort you can email me the picture you want and I'll adjust it and upload it for you.
Hope it helps
Cheers
Dan

Jim,
Go into the classifieds, click on 'my adds' at the top left hand side and then click on the add you want to edit. There is a set of symbols about half way down the page, that when you run the curser over they highlight what they do. One of these is the 'edit add' button, click this. Edit the text or price and save the changes.
Hope that helps.
Ian.

Thanks for helping out with advice Ian.
To edit your Ad Jim you need to click on the pic in your Ad. As Ian says it's half way down the page of a Classified Listing under 'User Options'.

Hi Neil,
- First go to the Classifieds Section of the site: Main Index - FREE Ducati Classifieds
- Then find the appropriate area to sell your bike: Ducati 749/999 - FREE Ducati Classifieds
- Then in the top right of the page click the Place an Ad link.
The page that now appears should take you through the process of listing your bike and it should be quite obvious how to do it, there is a part that lets you upload images as well. And the good thing is it's all FREE!
If you have any problems send me a PM (Personal Message): Click Here!
Cheers
Dan

Uploading multiple photos to the gallery?
Login - Ducati Pictures
"Select the photos you wish to upload from your computer:"
"Enter a default title for the photo(s) you are uploading. If you are uploading more than one photo, you will be able to change this on the next page for each photo."
The text suggests that I ought to be able to select and upload several photos at the same time but I can't work-out how to do it ... the normal Windows-ways to select multiple items don't work ('CTRL' and 'SHIFT' keys)

You can upload multiple photos to the 'Gallery' at the same time by compressing all the images in a .zip file and then selecting the .zip for uploading. Doing this will give you a new set of pages to follow but it should be self explanatory. I wouldn't try uploading a .zip file bigger than 3MB though, just in case the server times out or your PC has connection problems during the upload process.

Back to the tips......
Try and make the title of the post mean something if you're really looking for help. If it's titled something like "Bike issues" or "help me please" there's a chance people will skip it if they can't be ar5ed.....whereas something that gives a clue as the nature of the query may get some interest? (IMO)

Reading Threads...........
Hi all. Sorry if this has been done before but how do I read a thread with the first post at the top instead of reading them backwards if you know what I mean? (when I open a thread I would like to see post number 1 then down to 2 then down to 3 and so on. At the moment it is like the last post first)
