Passed my bike test 22 years ago....before my car test....know I'm a biker cos for the last 20 years always do a life saver, even when in a taxi on the way home at 3am after 16 pints and 5 sambucas....OK, maybe it was 10......sambucas that is! Plus, know I'm a biker cos of the number of times I've nearly driven my car into the back of another cos I was too busy looking at the bike going the othr way...and cos I've been slapped too many times for not knowing what my girlfriend just said as a Ducati with Termis just went by......
Oooops! ....but what can I say....

You have in the kitchen different coloured chopping boards for vegtables, cooked foods, fish, uncooked meat and repairing engine or brake parts.

Your bike moves into the lounge over the winter and you rebuild your DD racer engine on the coffee table.....

Yup, that's the one! GSX lump stripped and rebuilt on the kitchen table. It took 3 months.
Also when talking to a complete stranger you find that they've been to the same concerts as you 30 years ago (Led Zep), they've done the same bike shows (KCBS) and rallies, and know what you're talking about when you mention GSthous, Lav180's and twin leaders.

you know your a biker when:
you know your a biker when:
you relocate the tv in the living room to make way for the 996
you modify all of the door frames in the house, cut the gate off and cut down the lower part of the banister so you dont scratch ur bike on the way into the living room

You know you're a biker when your car is not allowed in the garage due to lack of room.

You know you're a biker when the weather is sunny and for various reasons you can't get out and you have to turn the tv up so as to not here all the bikes blasting past your house on the A10 lucky barstewards

Very quick spin up and down the road to check all gears kind of stuff....but not a real ride at all so no real sense of what it is like. Looking forward to having a proper blast I can tell you. What was your first ride like?

you know your a biker when you ride home 25 miles from the dealers after the service in the pi$$ing rain and think that was a good ride ........then smell petrol dripping on the garage floor, the dumb grease monkey had nicked the o-ring when reconecting the tank resulting in a drip drip drip on to a hot engine for 25 miles!!!!!!!! nothing for it but strip off the tank and fix it yourself.
