Midlands Meet and Dyno Day: 13 Sep 08

Hi guys, as promised on the other dyno thread, I have spoke to the manager of the company, and have agreed a time and date for anyone interested in a Ducatisti meet and dyno run.

Saturday 13th of September, starting at 9.30am .
Runs will be £15 each, for that you will get a full power run + printed graph, and fuelling check. Normally it is £30 a go, so bit of a bargin I feel!

It is in Cradley Heath, West mids, and the address is:

Projex
Unit 6 Spinners End Industrial Estate
Oldfields
Cradley Heath
West Midlands
B64 6BS

If I could have some names of people interested, I can confirm numbers and try to organize some grub as well. Should be a great oppertunity to meet people and give the bikes a check over/ bragging rights on the dyno!

Cheers, will

As much as I'm sure you're all lovely, nice people, the 13th is my Birthday, so I'll hopefully be somewhere pleasant being pampered and not hanging around a noisy dyno Make sure you take lots of photos and stuff to share though.

Sounds like a good idea.

Have to check with my events secretary though (Lissa)

By the way Will, you need to change your avatar info, the 996 is no longer on the way is it?

I'll be there (again) had 2 dyno runs from Kev (manager) before, nothing like sticking ya bike on a dyno and watching it max out in 6th gear

Just a heads up on the Dyno test, those that have seen my race rep MonsterMob and are interested in resprays, stone chip or scuff repairs, inc plastic welding etc, the guy in the next unit who did my bike will be there to answer any questions.

Do you know I think I shall come along - I just would like to check that the duchess is kicking all she could.

Any 996 owners want to bet a fiver that my bog standard ST4S has more ponies than their steed ??

Oft documented that the 4s had bigger cahonies than the 996 (Bog standard), it was something that Ducati slipped into the medicine!!

I am interested to see what mine will do compared to what it should do, now it's a little used.....and for £15......I have spilt more in beer this week . (Oh please don't let Mrs Spike read this).

It will be a good giggle and a chance to meet up and talk Ducati for an hour or so whilst some stranger thrashes the **** off of our bikes for us to get a 10p sheet of paper with some coloured squiggles on it.

Bring it on, see you there then!!
