I am shocked that you could think such a thing, Mark.I left at 11pm to go home , having drink taken, I grant you. By that time a couple of people had succumbed to "tiredness" but the majority were still up and chatting and drinking (cocoa in some cases).Nope, 6.19 is just cos I am an early riser. Dammit.

Paivi, there were plenty of apples but no sign of Gecko food. I suspect that the moles got there first.

Enjoy that new bike feeling - there’s nothing better and reading your great story made me re-live my first ride on my monster from the dealership all those weeks ago (about 8 weeks I think!)
Don't lose that glow I still smile every time I see my baby (called Daisy Duke) even if it is to walk past her to get into the car to go to work.
And I am sure you will be at the next meet and it will not be long before your wife has her own Ducati and joins us girlies here!!

I'm that my read has brought back so many memories for so many Ducatisti's
I'm not married just living in sin and she will not get on the back of mine let alone get her own bike
I'm very much looking forward to my first ride out and meeting new friends. It's a lonely world biking by ones self....

Dean, I know you want to get your bike serviced before any rideout, but if you can get it done before Oct 14th , this might be one to visit.... If so, maybe we could meet up somewhere and ride there together .... Just a thought

The only reason I got my bike licence (about 11 years ago) was because my then boyfriend was buying a bike. I was so not looking forward to riding pillion so I thought I would get my own bike. Well before I completed my lessons he had been dumped but I stuck with the lessons and passed. It has only taken me 11 years to finally get to own my own bike but it is soo much better than being pillion (IMHO).
So maybe motorbike lessons for your OH for Christmas???

i know the feeling
I'm 31 now and i was dreaming of owning a Ducati since i was 18.I've being riding japanese bikes from the age of 16 when i was in Italy and and i've carried on my passion for bikes even when i've moved to England.
Finally two weeks ago my dream came true,so now i also own a Duc.996 biposto.
I still ride a Yamaha to go to work and for short journeys in town, but when on my spare time i get on the Ducati it's a different story, i have done already 500miles and i can't wait to burn a bit more rubber.
Have fun.
