Fender Extender?

The GT needs a fender extender to keep the mud and rain from the engine and oil cooler. I seem to remember reading somewhere on the net about one from a Jap bike fitting perfectly - probably a Suzuki, possibly the SV650, if my memory serves me. Sod's Law, and I can't find the post anywhere.

Anyone help out? Or any alternative suggestions?

Do you know which model it was for? Pyramid only list the Monster, ST2 and Multistrada for Ducati. I'm pretty sure I read that an item for a Jap bike was an exact fit.

Thanks

Now purchased and fitted. Fenda Extenda for Suzuki SV650 from Pyramid Plastics. Not a perfect fit, but close enough. I ended up sanding the lip off the inside of the mudguard to allow closer contact, Araldited them together and clamped them up for 24 hrs. I didn't want to spoil it by fitting the self-tappers that came with the item, and I didn't trust the double-sided tape they supplied. I couldn't get the side gaps identical, but near enough. The sides needed trimming to make a better line with the original. Nice easy job, though - four bolts to get the mudguard off, then you can work on the bench, in the dry. The best thing is - the front cylinder and oil cooler are now completely clean, despite running through torrential rain and inches of mud where I work.

Brilliant, and well worth doing. What is puzzling me is why Ducati didn't make the mudguard longer in the first place, as in my opinion it looks better with the fenda extenda than without.
