alternative mirrors ??

hi all has anyone fitted different mirrors to the hyper ??, i've already caught a car mirror whilst filing slowly through traffic but the nice man actually said forget about it and was more interested in having a good look at the bike......... result !!

i've seen some after market brackets in the hyper catalogue but have never seen anything else fitted apart from the standard ones which i think look a bit silly. they remind me and i'm old enough to remember............ cowhorns that people used to fit to push bikes ( the wider the better, probably like the trouser bottoms of the time also)

some pics would be good if anyone has any.

thanks

I think the clue is, as you said, 'look silly' - any Ducati is a design classic and should be left as so. We all accept their little faults, and unlike with little boy racer car's we all seem to stick to the 'proper' genuine accessories such as Termis, and open clutch covers etc etc.

Before I bought mine Anne the previous owner had the Ducati brackets fitted and used a pair of Monster mirrors.

I think the Multistrudel mirrors with the built in indicator would look good

I have ordered some Rizoma mirrors for me Hyper S... they look cool but I am not sure how they will work on the Hyper. 70 quid a pop for the mirrors and 30 odd for the adapters. So almost 200 quid just to relocate the mirrors, better damn well work ! Will post pics up when it is done.

FAR make mirrors for a lot of companies inc Ducati, or go to an Aprillia or KTM dealer where you can get them cheap, KTM are used to proper supermoto riding and the parts prices reflect that
