2:1 Termi - how did you fit your no plate?

As I said in another thread, I am hoping to get a Termi 2:1 exhaust on my Hypermotard. It will be fitted by the dealer, but I want to know if a standard size number plate will fit - if not, what is the largest size that will fit?

And do I need a tail tidy or will the supplied Ducati kit be enough to fix the plate?

Thanks.
Did you fit it yourself and was it the standard kit that comes with the pipes?

Don't worry mate - I have a great dealer nearby (Moto Rapido), who I am sure will sort out the problem.

This is mine its got a 7 x 5.5 inch plate and i've just cut the two "legs off the standard number plate bracket. sounds a bit drastic but it really isnt. If you take care cutting and then rubbing down the edges you really cant tell

And then at least the number plate is in the middle and not "cocked" over to one side to avoid the exhaust .

Thanks for the pictures.
I have had the pipe fitted, and a new tail tidy but a smaller plate - I think it looks pretty good.

That looks awesome - now I'm gonna have to rethink getting the Termi 2-into-1!!

Angry

if the exhaust if fitted correctly a full size plate will fit on the equiptmant that comes in the kit , so no need to worry

however if you want a tidy rear end , as the kit is still quite bulky , you can fit tail tidys, fit smaller plates etc etc if you wish to be illegal

hope this clear
