Anyone see the 'Norvin' lurking in the Triton owners club tent? the most beautiful bike i've ever seen.

Was this the one? Sorry about the quality - it was mobbed around the stand when I was there and was difficult to get any kind of shot.

I quite fancy one of these

No, beautiful though that one looks it wasn't the one I was refering too. It was a light green colour, with all the aluminium bits highly polished . Took my breath away.

Are yes, very nice indeed. If only....I think it was the only one I didn't get a shot of as the whole stand was top notch with a heart warming collection of polished metal and beauty. It's had me looking at classic auction sites today (wishfull thinking sadly) until I was caught by the good lady - why are you looking at this? not more bikes etc etc. still I can always enjoy these

What a beauty that gold/orangey framed one is. Some of the Tritons were superb as well. As an ex Triton owner that I built when i was an apprentice in the early 70's I really appreciate the quality of the engineering. My present bike, a Ducati 749s gives me some of the feelings I remember as a fearless and foolish youth!

Butch, Where did it all go wrong?

Urban myth regarding George Best.
Story goes: Waiter goes up to deliver another bottle of Champagne to George who's staying in the Ritz. Miss World is sprawled on the bed playing with their winnings at the casino that evening, and the waiter says to George, " where did it all go wrong Mr Best?"
