Ducati MH900e - Best Example of Design!

Ducati MH900e - Best Example of Design!
Did you know that Time magazine placed the Ducati MH900e among the ten best examples of design in year 2000. Pierre Terblanche's masterpiece has been placed in London's Tate Modern Gallery and Amsterdam's Het Oosten Pavilion.

In the words of Time.com:
"Like a futurist painting, this sensuously sleek Italian motorbike, designed in honor of champion racer Mike Hailwood, seems to move while standing still. And did it ever move! Just after midnight on New Year's Day, it sold out its first year's entire production at the Ducati web site in 31mins flat".

MH900e

Why oh why oh why oh why dont they make more of these babies - they would sell them by the Boat Load - utterly beautiful - remember seeing one in the flesh at the NEC Bike Show on the Ducati Stand.

Out of all the Ducati's made in the last 25 years, I truly believe that riding this bike to your favourite local meet is gonna turns more heads than anything else. Some say it's beautiful, and other say it's just weird and ugly.... but regardless of whichever end of the scale you sit, it's still incredible to look at!

And imagine taking this bike below on a trackday...... great fun!

Yes, it looks like it would take 10mph off the top end speed, the rest of the bike is delicious though :P

ducati did two colour schemes for this bike, and i was lucky enough to see the grey version in the flesh at a local meet, it was next to a original mhr and they looked fantastic, i did take photos, and did mention this before, in some post, but im buggered if i remember where???
