No full beam, but bulb and fuse all ok?!

Bit of a strange one, but my full beam on my monster has decided to give up the ghost?! The bu;b is ok, i replaced it, the fuses are ok, but still no full beam.

I have side lights, and standard beam. As soon as I flick to full beam, nothing. Any thoughts before I take it to my local to get charged £70 an hour?!

Good morning to you.
Check the volts available at the handlebar switch wiring with the switch in both positions. Could be something as simple as crud in the switch mechanism. Thats where I would start. You'l need a voltmeter or a test lamp.

Hope you get it sorted quickly.

thanks for that, funny thing is the dash is lighting up as it should, showing full beam. (the blue light)

Guess its just one of those things that I will have to sort out via a ducati mechanic. Thanks anyway.
