Immobiliser problem

I had to take the battery out of the monster to charge it, but after having reinstalled it when I switch on the ignition and try to start it there is a click but nothing happens.... which I assume to be the immobiliser kicking in.

I don't have the instruction manual at hand, but does anyone know how to reset the immobiliser?

Thanks

OK, there is a new development. Now when I switch on the ignition the parking light comes on and the two bottom dash lights only and there is a clicking noise coming from the ECU.

Does that mean I have one dead Duc?

is there a key sensor located in the ignition barrel like in the 749/999 series? its a ring that if it drops too far doesnt recognise the key.

might be worth takeing the ignition barrel cover off and have a look.

Problem solved

The low amps being put out by the battery made the whole system go nuts... of course I only discovered this after putting the battery back on charge for 24hrs and all the weird problems disappeared.
