Arrow S2R Wheel Confusion

Right, I'm thoroughly confused (yes, I know, it doesn't take much). Can anyone please tell me who makes the wheels on the S2R 1000?

Ducati.com says they are 'lightweight Marchesini five spoke wheels' ((Ducati.com click) click on features, then wheels).

But the handbook says they are 'Brembo light alloy five spokes' (page 71)

Anyone know the truth?

Mike

Both.. I may be corrected but Marchesini are owned by Brembo........ So they get away with rebadging them against the better brand.

Anyway they still look good.

Correct - Marchesini is owned by Brembo - if you look at the inside of the wheels - you should see a Brembo trademark in the casting somewhere, and it will have marchesini rim stickers!

I see (he says rubbing his bleary moley eyes).

I have a new set of Marchenisini stickers and was about to put them on the rims but didn't want to look an idiot.

Thanks for the info - off to the garage now.

Mike
