any advice would very appreciated!!! I have only used the monster on track for the last 2 years so it's fitted with worn gp's at the mo they wont last the trip!!

I went latter part of last year and rode there and back the ride does square your tyres a bit. I have on Diablo corsa 3 they did cut up a bit but were super sticky and never gave me a moment. I had never experienced leaning on a tyre that hard before.

But some of the quick guys were on Michelin 2CT equally if not more grippy with no sign of cutting up and these guys are 90 secs a lap faster than me.

So either will do you proud.

Phil

I swear by the Dunlop D209GP, which has I believe, been superceded by the Qualifier RR now.....

I've done the ring a few times and I always got there and back on one set of tyres, although some others I have been with had to have replacements, I suppose it is to do on how hard you push it and how many laps you do?

I have always used Michelin's of some sort and the 2CT' are perfect as they don't get too squared off and they are still good on their side.

Bike: 2002 Ducati 998,

Diablo corsas are my choice for the ring every time. Stick like sh1t to a blanket and will see you right when the heavens open on the way home.
