Touring screen

Has anybody had any experience of these screens MRA Vario touring screen.
They look good and the write up is not bad, but a riders review from here would be good.

Cheers

I have a 54 PLate bike and had the original screen. I have since fitted the DP comfort screen which is much better.

I too researched many screens before buying but dismissed the MRA as

a. Poor reviews
b. It looks aweful (only IMHO).

I have a vario on my Triumph Tiger and it works well, generally accepted as the best of of an average bunch for the bike. The Ducati version looks low, no higher than standard, so its effectiveness will depend on how tall you are.

IMHO the Multistrada is no oil painting itself (sorry guys) it's better than a Tiger, but then so is the the winner of the ugly warthog competition.

Might be cheaper than the Ducati Performance item?

In a competition between form and function on a sportbike form has to win, but on an all-rounder its function for me every time.

I am probably going to order a powerbronze one today, but I am almost tempted to buy an MRA one just because everyone hates it.

You are so contrary!!
I bought the Skidmarx one, it doesn't make much difference!! I will but a DP touring when one comes along used...
Once you have the PB one fitted, we must test each others bike to see if it makes any difference?

I like to think size does not matter Ordered a gel seat today from Pro Twins. They said it should only take a couple of days, I hope so, but we will see.
Also bought a pair of red route biking jeans. Nice and comfy, hope I never test them.
My wife says I look like a skater boy in them.

£143 for the seat, I trawled the net and e bay for a while but none came up cheaper or second hand. My arse can't take anymore, so I bit the bullet and bought a new one.

Powerbronze screen arrived today £52, ordered Monday so cannot fault the delivery.
Never had one before, feels good quality, very sturdy and nice light grey tint with a dark shaded area at the bottom with Ducati in silver. Need it to stop raining to find out how effective it is, but I dont care because it looks good.

screen looks good - replaced mine with a DP max comfort and it is soooo much better - not a full touring screen but i have been doing london-cardiff every friday and it works great. The DP one was £60 so not too bad.

I like the PB one especially with the Ducati name on it...be interesting to see if it is better, my skidmarx one isn't any better really, but looks better as it is tinted.
I don't think Ducati make a touring screen tinted, do they?
