Termis for an MTS?
How much would a set of Termis cost for an MTS? I am considering buying a used one and would really like Termis....

Termi's are a lovely option to have but do not expect alot of noise from them. For some reason the multi ones are not very loud at all. I have seen a set of Zard pipes on and they look good, not sure what they sound like though.

The slip-on Termis for a Multi are about £750. For this you get a performance air filter and DP ecu as well.

Thanks... I suppose to a degree it depends on whether the baffles have been 'modified' or not?

To get better power and noise you need to fit the cat bypass.

I will check if it has been done or not; I would hope it has as they were fitted by the dealer when new?

The cat bypass does not come with the Temis - they charge you extra. I looked at a demo with Termis and it was not much different to my standard cans. They said that the bypass is the best performance mod you can do!

Kev,
So, is the 'cat bypass' a new manifold with lambda sensors etc?

Would a set of Termi pipes off of a 1000 fit straight on to the 1100? and would the ecu and air filter fit?
Would a comfort seat from a 1000 also fit on the 1100??

I checked on the Termis and it does come with ecu and air filter...I was told it replaces the back cat', but does not replace the front cat'!! I assume it would make some improvement in 'noise', that is what I want, not the hp increase....

I put a full Zard system on my MTS1100s, sounds great, fits well and looks better than the standard/Termi cans....can definitely recommend...pics here on my Black bike (written off) and the Red one..

I have a set of Termi's with removeable baffles off of my Multi sitting in a box in my garage, PM me if you're interested.
If you don't change the air filter or remove the cat then you don't need to change the ECU.

Don't know if you saw my post or not... but the ecu of off another bike will not work as it is programmed/coded and can not be reprogrammed!!!
So, this means that buying a used set of pipes and ecu is not going to work!!!!!!!!
Maybe decat is the way to go??
Ducati decat pipes
Cheers,
