What Tyres

Ok, I know this has been done to death but anyway...
I'm after some new boots for my V-Strom {please don't cane me it's a work horse}. I obviously dont want a supersport tyre {like the Pirelli corsa's ive got on my 749} and i really don't know what's out there as "street" boot. So what do you guys use on your multi's, or have i got this very wrong and your all running Michelin 2ct's.
This is the first time i've had to buy this sort of tyre so any advice would be appreciated.
By way of info it currently has Bridgestone Trailwing's on it. As these are the tyres that were on it when i got the bike i don't have much of a point of referece as the're all i know.

Sorry to drone on.
Cheers.

I've got Bridgestone BT021's. They're like a Dime Bar- soft on the outside and hard in the middle. It's the same idea as the 2CT's but the bridgestones tend to stay in one piece when you're riding.

What size wheels does the VStr*m have because this may limit your choice of tyres.

Sorry your right i should have censored that.
It's rear is 150/70/17 and front 110/80/19 {damn that's a tall front wheel}.
The reason i asked you guys is that i don't really want a big f**k off knobbly tyre on it as i use it mainly on fast roads {and i do throw it around a bit }
