If you meet him and he's carrying some sort of gas cannister, run away very quickly.

(Watch No Country For Old Men to find out what the f**k I'm on about.)

It does look great!!

Well, Ravi didn't close on the tricolore MTS620 and it has fallen into my hands! See more quick pix here (click on the thumbnails for a bigger pic):

my bikes

Local opinion here is 5 against it, 3 for it and 1 undecided (but warming up fast, I suspect) - me, I absolutely love it and can only describe the bike as quite astonishing for a 620!!

Absolute blinder!!

Wish I hadn't seen this thread

Best of luck with that - I'm waiting on another bike now.
Oh I hope I don't live to regret it...

Wonder if Tony'll give me my deposit back now he's sold it?

Sorry to turn the knife, Ravi - Tony told me you two had agreed it wasn't best for your specific requirements! (You paid him a deposit??? Get on to him and get it back - he may well be round here tonight, I'll get on his case!!)

Thanks for your kind sentiments - the bike is a little blinder, like I said and if only you and me like the paint job it'll do me just fine!!

(I know it stopped a couple of cars pulling out on me this morning - whether that was from shock or wonderment I don't know!! )

Good luck with the bike you're waiting on - let us know more about it when you get it!

Started to think I've made a mistake... your pictures do that bike some great justice, and I know the riding position will be oh so comfortable...

Will email Tony now, I hope he sees fit to sort me out. I bet you got a better deal than I was offered too....

'reckon those cars thought you were a copper

Enjoy

Thank you, Ravi.

Yes, the 'Strada is the most comfortable bike I have had to date - so much so, it's throwing a shadow over the GT1000! It goes like stink and is as mad as a high-performance two stroke - very nimble and quick off the mark and (at nearly 30 lbs lighter) suits my needs perfectly, but I suspect you'd be better off with the bigger 1000 or 1100 version...??

And I think you're right about looking like a copper - the white fairing top does catch the eye! (No bad thing! )
