Removing the CAT and adding Aftermarket Pipes?

Hi guys i'm new to the Ducatisti so hello to you all.

I have a Multistrada 620

I was wondering if anybody has or knows anyone that has cut open the CAT pipe and removed the packing then welded it back up?

Also has anyone got after market cans? I am looking at buying a second hand set of Termi's that come with the ECU. Not sure if i can just plug the Termi ECU into my bike though if it has already been set up on another 620..?

Any help would be great!

Each to their own and all that, but why try to improve the 620, just buy the 1000

i looked at 1000 to begin with but insurance was crazy.

Yep,..Ive seen some posts and pics on the multi website,www.multistrada.net
Not sure about the 620,but there is definatly pics of the 1000.

Got a Remus sound system on my 1000DS.They sound awesome without the removable baffles.

Usefull torque kick too!
