paso down

Had a day off today so as its a loverly day went down to clifton for a ride Pulling out of the parking space god knows how i did it but lost my balance down we go on the rh side Much cracking of fairing and worst of all the indicator mirror pod took much of the fall luckily glass is in one piece Got home and stripped all the panels off. On the upside the one thats damaged is one that had been repaired by the previous owner, so off to find someone to repair and paint the bits Meanwhile if you see a streetfighter style Paso nr Bristol give us a wave

Sorry to hear whats happened.

Shame your not closer to WSM, my neighbour round the corner is a paintsprayer and has all the kit for fairing repairs, from the work I have seen on bikes that he's done its pretty good.

There is a good sprayer in Bristol, in the same units as "Tim Blakemoor" who I would expect you to know.. I always forget the guys sirname but his name is Tim and he is very good, does bikes and bike related gear. Sure he can repair plastics as well.

Edit...

Followed Tim Blakemores site and found the info for you. Tims a good bloke and very helpful.

Bad news Mate - hope the repair isn't too costly and that the "Street Fighter" style doesn't become a permanent fixture ! Had a near miss myself on Saturday while parked up in Fimber Woods picnic site and cafe near Driffield. The surface has been battered by the rain and frosts resulting in a dodgy place for side stands. I tucked a flattish piece of stone under the side stand and tootled off for a brew. When i returned some 45 minutes later the Paso was leaning at an alarming 45 degree angle with the side stand buried in the ground. Hell of a job getting back upright.

WELL I GOT IT BACK TODAY IT HAS NOT BEEN DONE DESPITE VISITING THE PAINTER EVERY 2 TO 3 WEEKS SINCE HE HAD IT AND BEEN TOLD AN ABSOLUTE PACK OF LIES EVERY TIME to say i am ****ed off is a major understatement .

So back to square one i need a reliable painter who will actually tell the truth and do the job preferably near Bristol but i am preparred to travel

What really gets to me is i missed to go on holiday on the bike and have missed the best of the summer.

Blimey! Three months instead of the original 10 days!?!? Got to admire your patience, though, as I would have taken the bike back a long time ago.

Hope you'll find somebody more reliable and honest.

I can't believe how dishonest some of these bozos are. I had a leather suit ordered, all paid up front. Took ages still not done, I smelt a rat, waited some more then gave him notice of prosecution for recovery of debt. He made the suit but never spoke to me again.

Hi,
Art Attack Designs of Plymouth did exactly what it said on the tin...
I dropped off my work, got a date for completion and the kit was done on time .
at a fair price...
A hell of a lot cheaper than Dream Machine!
It was a good job as well IMHO.

Paso, that is a royal pain. I hope you get a good job done by another painter soon. (In all honesty, you've probably gpot 10 days until the weather brightens up anyway)

HI Paso - try this bloke. Most of the stuff I've seen of his has been custom stuff, but he's done some nice classic brit stuff too.
