Paul Smart 1000LE - Had a good look at one today!

I was over at Italia Moto today. There on the forecourt was a new Paul Smart rep.Have to say it looked gorgeous. The exhuasts looked a lttle lop sided,...a bit like when you see a BMW with only one pannier on!
The seating position is ok for six footers like me.The seat is quite high, while the bars are low and a long way away.
I was pretty impressed,...although not enough to buy one.Italia also had the alternative,'reverse cone mega's' in stock. They are a lot more compact than the std. pipes, but dont look as good as the origional bke with hi-level exhausts.
A nice bike to bring out on the odd sunny sunday methinks, but thats it.

DUCATI Paul Smart 1000LE

A Tribute to Racer Smart and the Imola 200 Victory
Inspired by Paul Smart’s 750 Imola racer, engineered to capture the verve of the original and to fulfill the demands of today’s sport rider.

Although classically styled, the PaulSmart1000 Limited Edition is engineered to deliver modern Ducati road performance. The Limited Edition model with its confident-handling trellis frame is complemented by the ultimate in suspension, Öhlins, both front and rear. Powering the bike is the 1000 DS engine, the most advanced, most powerful Ducati air-cooled engine ever.

The image shown is the production model with Classic Silver bodywork and Sea Green frame of the iconic 1974 SuperSport 750.
