Pic of my new bike!
Here's one for Macca and the chaps. I's being delivered next week, unless I get impatient and pick it up before! 1845 miles on an '06. Not sure about the leather pants on the tank, and those plastic timing belt covers will have to go in the same skip as the enclosed clutch cover.

, Looks like its had a couple of tweaks, footrests are on lowering plates.. never seen those before, wonder who makes those?
Agree with the tankbag "bra" its not the most attractive. Though will stop scratches on the tank from the prone riding position.
I'd be good to hear how you find it once you've settled in.
Cheers Macca

Looks sweet Kes and I bet it sounds awesome
Dump the tank protector though, have you taken the cover off to check that the paintwork is okay on the tank?

You might want to tell the BMW people to stop advertising it as being for sale on their web site too!
Nice looking bike, though. I hope you're both very happy together.
Mike

Cheers. I had the "pants" taken off the tank, and it's all good, no scratches or anything. Not sure if I can wait to have it delivered, so may pick it up over the next few days! Does anyone know whether an open clutch cover for, say, a ST or Monster would fit? it's just that there's not much in the way of bling I can find for the sports classic bikes, I know NCR do a few bits, but blimey! they're expensive and apparently take ages to order.

Hypermotard,MonsterS2R1000 or Multistrada bits will fit as they use the same engine.

Not sure which nights they start Andy, but I'll be there! Are we doing the same as last year and meeting up to ride in together?
