Numbers
Can anyone give me an idea of the numbers of sports (both unfaired and S models) sold in this country?, or even globally.
Having never seen another one except parked outside the dealers I suppose the figures may be small.

i had a look in the Standard Catalogue of Ducati Motorcycles Book and it gives details on the numbers of 900 and 750 Sport and Supersport up to 2002 as well as the MH900e, STs, 916 series etc etc. It does not list anything for the 2003 on models like the SC1000, PS1000, Sport 800, 620 and 1000. The numbers given also only show half faired and faired but the list includes all the country specific numbers. however I am not sure exactly which sport and MY you are referring to as they have used Sport as a model name for models of different sizes in every decade since the 50s. if you are looking for post 03 models you will probably need to email Ducati. I have aslo never seen anyof the later ones and they look really nice, the MH900 is also very distinctive and attractive in a quirky sort of way. |
