Servoignition System

At least that what it's called in the hand book; mine has stopped working I can start the bike on the throttle but have to keep the throttle on to warm it up but once up to temp it will tick over nicely and start from warm no problem. Anyone had experience of this and is a trip to the dealer?

Any advice?

Thanks,

CTT.

I have had this happen to me, and the bike would just turn over until it timed out, once you gave it a bit of throttle away it went. This happened 500ks off the first 12000k service and once the service was carried out I have not had the problem since. They did mention that the throttle synchronization was out and had to be adjusted

Have the same problem since I fitted PCIII and loaded new map. I did not reset the throttle position sensor when loading map so will do it and see what happens.
Apparently you should reset it but I did not know.

Luca that is only setting the throttle position for the pc3 software i.e so it knows when its closed or 40% etc etc.

It has nothing to do whatsoever with the throttle position sensor on the throttle bodies.

That can only be zeroed out with the mathesis system.

I was talking about PCIII reset not on the bike. Sorry if I was not clear.

My bike started doing it only when I fitted PCIII and loaded new map. Did not reset it then will do this weekend.
