i have remus on mine
when i first fitted them on i had a nasty flat spot at about 7.5krpm
i cut a few 25mm holes in the air box which improved things a lot, but it was still there a tad
a new fuel filter and some plugs later and the bike ran like a r1 LOL
well not quite but as good as an st2 gets
ive run it for well over a year like this with no problems, the plugs look a nice dark grey colour
wether i needed to cut the holes in the airbox or not i aint sure as i should have probably tried the plugs and filter first. but a lot of people recomend this mod on the st and it works for me

I had Remus cans on my 900SSie, superb sound and great quality - remus manufacture the DP cans as well.
I had no need to re-chip with just the cans, but open airbox / K&N filter as well and it ran a bit lean. You should be fine with just the cans on the standard ECU I'd say.

Did you enjoy putting the whole pump/filter assembly back in the tank ? - I found mine proper tricky to get out and a right ******* to get back in again !!
