ST2 - Ride height adjuster

A mate of mine (who happens to be a mechanical whizz) told me the ride height adjuster is all the way down.

Now I'm perfectly happy with the way the bike is setup (as if by magic), but he was saying that by raising it, it would make the bike steer faster.

Has anyone played with theirs, and if so what were the result?

The airbox mod sounds interesting. Wonder whether that will work on the 2?

There's something about that on the thread Mo, think he said it produced a flat spot somewhere - you definately need to make further research before showing it the chainsaw !! fancy doing it to my 4 tho but I will also make further research. Any info on this anyone please ?

Get you ride height adjuster set so you can just see day light under the back wheel when the bike is on the centre stand. Just be aware that your ride height adjuster my be seized, so give it a good dose of wd40 and leave over night. Just take it steady when you ride after this as big changes can mean a big difference!

Then, get your suspension set up for YOU. I used <http://www.racelab.co.uk/news.html> They have a list of dates they attand track days so call them and arrange to meet at one of the tracks to get you'rs done - or do the track day as well! Mine cost £40 and really transformed my bike beyond belief.

MY air mox is very neatly modified I will post an image of it in my album some time this week complete with dimensions of the holes. I also have an ITG filter that seems to work well, (http://www.itgairfilters.com/).

My bike is also chipped, and did have open cans fitted, although I now have the standard cans back on and it still runs fine, no flat spots anywhere, and the induction roar is fantastic!
