Was just putting the locks on after a tootle back across town and was amazed how hot the Pilots had got. No wonder they hold so well in the wet if they get that hot just trundling around town.

I'm sure the Diablos never heated up that much.

Next Tuesday 05:00hrs I and the ST4s will set off for Zeebrugge - 766kms (479mls) - to catch the overnight ferry to Hull at 18:00hrs check in. The Pilots will be very hot and sticky through all ther twisties in France n Belgium.

Then dock in Hull at 08:00hrs (off n out of customs =8:30hrs n refuel) and a fast motorway run M62/M18/M1 J28 and A plus B n C roads from there to me owd pile of stone - 114mls so that I can lock bike in garage/shower/change into street wear and stroll down to my local for a my first pint at 12:00hrs sharpish (it will be poured ready for me) - the Pilots will be hot n sticky.

Then Thursday 07:00hrs off to Lincoln 83mls to Italia for Duc's service. Total my home in CH to Italia UK 676 hot n sticky but packed with fun Pilot miles. Cann't Wait. Roll on Tuesday 5am.

Return journey will be an extra 310mls longer (986 in total) as I am going back via Portsmouth ferry to Le Havre and across France to Switzerland home. Again marvellous French N and D roads to keep them Michelins nice n sticky.
