Ducati Sport Cans

I bought my ST with sport cans fitted, and no original silencers.

It makes a great noise with these pipes and goes well IMHO, sometimes they even drown out the clutch rattles

But it would seem to go well as I've been riding a Morini Kanguro with a heady 27horses for the last 4 years.

I was just wondering does anyone know if it should go through the MOT with these cans fitted?

The guy I bought it from said they were legal, but he would wouldn't he?

When the MOT tester asks you whether they are legal cans, just say you can't hear him over the noise

I have standard cans fitted to my ST.

As I live on the Isle of Man I am not bothered about CE marks or MOTS.

What make are they?

Do you have them for these cans? I guess I need to be 100% sure they are Ducati Sport cans...they aren't stamped or marked with any logo.

Perhaps if I post a pic of them over the weekend someone more knowledgable than me can confirm it.

Charlie, all that, no speed limit and the TT, lucky man

I gather from reading other threads that the Ducati Sport cans are made by Remus.

Cheers for the advice Mo...sounds like a plan to me

Nogaromill999

You forgot no tax and no gatsos. Heaven.

TT was good - bit crowded with 50000+ bikers.

Only been here 10 months. No way am I moving back- get to ride the TT course every Sunday morning. Marvellous.

Regards

Charlie
