Tour ahead!!!

Guys, I'm certainly in ..... MC Museum sounds good.....I've not been since it burned down.

Mark, France sounds great too!! I spend half my life there courtesy of my GF who lives in Paris and my Brother who lives in Normandy. How about meeting up for a trip to Le Mans for the Moto-GP May 18th???

Lol "to your left you shall see a slightly charred Norton Dominator. After that the famous all white Heskith, now sadly all black and behind that a pile of ashes that used to be the 1977 GP winner"

"Now on to the leather room - please understand these all used to be a lot bigger before the water damage shrunk them"

All my peyote is thoroughly scrubbed!

MarkST posted a video of a circuit of the Island a little while back and there was some talk of a Duke trip?

Am in for the museum trip though as determined to have the ST before end of January!

Maybe we could arrange this for Easter? Not far away now, just B4 summer time?
This is a time, we have a place, any other suggestions?

Bike: ST4s - "Pavarotti"

I could not make a March date in Blighty as I'm committed to my daughter's ski training throughout that month. But that's no reason why you lot don't hang around in the debris of the N.M/C.M.

April would be good as there's the Italian Bike/Car festival in Bristol and that would be great to see loads of SportTourers there. 8) I'm already trying to make that festival, subject to her indoors not being one of the duty Docs on A&E that particular weekend - will know that at the begining of April.

And May should also be okay for me to come over on the ST4s.

Possible Locations

Hi all
Newbie posts first comment (applause).

I have never been to the Motorcycle museum so that would be a first, just try not to make it mid june as I am touring (and camping (horror)) in southern Ireland.
Another possibility for a location how about the BMF show at Peterborough BMF - British Motorcyclists Federation - Issues - Events - Touring on the 17th/18th May?
I appreciate there may be one or two other bike models or makes though.

Angry

How about BELGIUM!

Why - well belgium is not far away - it has loads of fantastic micro brewers to visit and get well oiled in - it is not expensive to drink or eat well there (compared to UK or CH) - accommodation is generally of a good to great standard and camping is possible for the masochists amongst you - getting there is easy n cheap - they speak english as well as 3 offical languages of there own. And I'd be willing to research the venue.

So what do the real tourers amongst the ST brigade think
