Scunthorpe Way

Cat & Fiddle, Willie Woods......these are the a few of my favourite things.

But now for reasons of family goodwill I need to find a cafe somewhere near Scunthorpe providing a decent brew and a Kit Kat. Preferably biker friendly (I'm none to bothered but my brother prefers his cafes that way).

Reason for Scunthorpe is mid way between Leeds & Lincoln. And avoiding the urban sprawl that is South / West Yorkshire. So alternatives to Scunthorpe welcomed.

All constructive / polite suggestions appreciated.

Ta.

Ah. No offence intended - please don't misunderstand.... I have nothing against S****horpe at all!

Just referring to a post I made a while back about the over-enthusiastic swear filter here and how surely it could be adjusted to not *** out naughty words when they appear innocently in another word!

Dan must have been listening..

Not a cafe as such but a butchers, bakers, sandwich makers with some seating outside. Spelmans in Brigg the finest sausage sarnies in the land.

There used to be a cafe at shop making its own ice cream not too far away:

W Cook & Son
94 High St
Blyton, Gainsborough, DN21 3LA

01427 628355

It's quite a while since I've been, but may be worth a look

I have a copy of this very useful tome at home:

Amazon.co.uk: AA Truckstop and Roadside Cafe Guide (AA Lifestyle Guides): Books

I'll try to remember to check the locale out for you tonight.
