Wink Welsh heavan (for bikes)

My favourite route in Wales, its just puts a grin on your face from ear to ear. If I ever have any troubles they have gone by the time I come back!

Google Maps

From Denbigh take the A543 to the A5 (16.3 miles of heavan)- Turn left.
A5 to turn off on B5401 (5 miles) back to Denbigh (14.3 miles)- enough said.

Your Google Maps link doesn't seem to work. Here's one that does. Looks awesome!

from:denbigh to:A543 to:Cerrigydrudion, Corwen, Clwyd, United Kingdom to:denbigh - Google Maps

Hi,

Have done the first half of your route many times but not the second part. One to try next time I'm out "pottering".
Cheers.

Thanks for the link...Dont know how to do that properly. (or upload photos of a decent size) Could ride that loop all day and sometimes do. I remember the first time I took the first half of the route on the A543 on my old Honda VFR NC30. I think that was the time I got 'afflicted' by biking real bad.

got to agree with you, the roads are nice and the scenery is good too. usually part of my return journey after stopping the night at tal-y-bont near barmouth. not been up there for a couple of years though.

Nathan/ Paul (Kenoir) and I went along the 4501 last Saturday, what stonking road! The lake on the right and sweeping bends with pine trees either side of the road.....could do that again and again. Does it ever get infested by the Brunstrom brigade?
