Barcelona GP via Pyrennes

For those that blat down to the Barcelona GP , don`t go down the motorway ..take time out and go through the southern slops of the Pyrennes.

The N260 is a fantasic road , and over 200 miles in length

Especially the N260 from Sort to Ribera d`Urgellet
Fast mountain bends up and down , smooth tarmac ...one of the best roads in Europe and I`ve done most having been to every WDW since it started.Trust me it is fantastic ...only saw 6 cars in both directions last time we were on it.

When you`ve finished the N260 hop on the N152 from Puigcerda to Ribes de Freser , very twisty mountain road that will ensure you get off your bikes asking for painkillers for your wrists.....enjoy.

Travelling to southern Europe ...don`t go over over to France ,get the Brittany ferry to Santander , miss out the motorways and hit the sun on your first day in Europe....you won`t regret it

i second that,a group of us all agree it is the best,fastest road we have ever been on,and no traffic,but did come around a bend at max speed to see a farmer and a herd of cows meandering along the road,i think i made a bigger brown mess than the cows.!
