Hop over the river and enjoy the B184 Chipping Ongar to Saffron Walden. A great little road. Quiet traffic wise, loads of good corner, some sweeping some sharp. Just don't loose your concentration like I did an end up taking a trip to a local hospital. For more inspiration have a look on www.bestbikingroads.com

good rides in kent

Hi Jay

I'm in East Kent but try and get out whenever I can. I like the A28 between Canterbury and Ashford and then down from Ashford to Hastings. Another popular ride is the A259 form Hythe to Rye. Can be busy at the weekend with both bikes and police. I usually try and go during the week.
Also the A251 between Faversham ( junc 6 on the M2 ) and Ashford.
In the summer there's a weekly meet on a wenesday evening at H's Cafe. If you don't know it's on the A2 between Canterbury and Dover, coastbound at Kent Motorcycles (Honda dealer).
Because I do shifts im off a lot in the week. I try and go out when the kids are at school. If you fancy a ride anytime just let me know. I don't mind travelling either.

Cheers Richard

That was my regular road for a spin when I lived in Whitstable with the CBR and then the Duke.

Happy drunken days..... 8)

you thought i looked small on the 748.....i look like a playmobil figure on this one

it's got a headlight fairing which is massive, feels like i'm driving a boat/the starship enterprise

and every time i stop at traffic lights/roundabouts, you can feel the whole of the suspension squish

still i'm back on 2 wheels so no more train for me
