Trailer and Track Day Insurance

I have just found out that my bike is not insured when its on my trailer pulled by my car, is this the same across the board?

Secondly, does anyone know if you can get track day insurance for your bike?

Cheers

Blimey - I'd better check my policy (I'm with ebike)

I've used Pit and Paddock Bike Sport Insurance Specialists - but is seems their service is closed for the minute.

As a guide, I took their 'Ground up' option for a bike value of GBP 5000-6000, no fairings, no personal injury. Cost GBP 235 for 2 trackdays (bulk discount applies).

I think that the theory is that the bike on the trailer is then covered by your car's insurance... I know someone had their van stolen with 2 bikes in it. and the bikes were not covered past 1000 quid max pay out for all cargo.
I am sure, though that someone will insure you.
