insurance renewal this month

Insurance is due at the end of the month, i dont mind shopping about and one place that has been highly recommended was ducati insurance......they insanely said that the could not offer anything lower than £1400 and had to be fully comp.....cheers.

Could find anything near what my current insurers are offering. It was a little weird they'd sent 2 quotes in the same envelope, one for £250 and one for £185??! i didnt get that.

Gave em a ring, stating id got their quote, the lady replied oh yes - £250? so i replied no £185. Oh really? can i just put you hold please sir. Yes we can honor that, confirmed my details and gave me some extras, 30 days cover in Europe, leathers cover (not that i have them), injury cover, unlimited miles, can carry a pillion and can drive other bikes covered for 3rd party only.

24 years old, License for one year, 1 yr NCB, 2002 748s valued at £4000, Garaged over night in kent

TPFT £185 cheers Express Insurance!

I`ve just renewed my insurance for a 12 month old 900 supersport - hope this helps. Renewal notice arrived for £178 F/C, followed a link on the moneysavingexpert.co.uk (com?) site and got a cheapest quote of £168 (+ better cover) with the company I`m already with! (direct choice brokers) gave them a ring and after upping the excess to £250 and removing the unwanted`legal expenses` and `road rage`cover!??! my premium dropped to £124 F/C with the same company I was originally quoted for.
My advice would be to get a few on-line quotes then check out some of the brokers - I have been quoted between £124 - £648 for the same level of cover with the same insurer by different brokers. Direct Choice did that little bit more than most to secure my custom so I`ll recommend them for this year.
Hope this is of some assistance.
Al.
