Your only a year older than me bud and my quote from Bennetts was no where near that....!!

I pay monthly and I'm sure it was something around £600, i'll have to dig the paperwork out.....cos I've forgot what the actual figure is.....

Good luck with your search, I'm sure there must be some better deals out there...........

Bloody Hell Ernie, that's dreadful.

I'm with Carole Nash and have found them pretty good, but then I'm 45... so at my age all insurance is cheap...!!

When I went to add my 'new' 888 SP4 to my existing Bandit 12 policy I was told that I'd have to cancel and set up a new 2-bike policy (the original plan was only good for 1 bike).

Fine I said... how much more for the second bike (the 888) fully comp....

£110...

You sure, I asked.... yup they said.... I said "result...!!"

Not wanting to wish my life away...but thats so annoying to see how cheap it gets the older you are (not saying 45 is old by the way James....!! )

The other thing that is really unfair with insurance companies is that they dont seem to recognise IAM or ROSPA.....
I hold an IAM advance licence but when I've tried to pass this info on to them there not interested........dont seem right to me...they should be promoting safe driving not dismissing it....

Goes to show, all there worried about is Age, Sex, Points, BHP, Make and model..oh yeh and the cost to replace........Makes ya sick dont it!!!

Don't even go there with insurance, i'm 29 zero nc, 3 points and a fault accident. My Sv was very resonible to insure i thought, considering everything.Well i do live in a very boring area and the bikes garaged that helps. I paid £350 comp with e-bike. When i bought my 749s i thought i'd put it on the same policy i mean how much more could it cost for the last 6 months of the policy. Well when i enquired they wanted an extra £445 just for the 6 months till the policy ends.

I think in June when the policy finishes i will be ringing around every where trying to find some thing better, cos for a year that would work out as £1250

Worth looking at Bennetts, they saved me over a hundred quid compared to Ducati insurance when I got my 749 in October 2006.

Bike: 916 SENNA

I insured my 916 and Fireblade fully comp with www.insuremyducati.co.uk for about £400. I am 29 with 1 years NCB. I have since sold the Blade, put a private plate on the Duke and each time they have changed the documents with no hassle at all. Might be worth a quote......
