Firstly, hello all. I got my first Ducati on Tuesday night, a 53 plate 748E. Went for a blast yesterday in the sunshine....loved it!

Anyway, quite fancy this BoxHill meeting but..............where is it??????
I'm in Kent near Bluewater.

You have a couple of options.

1) M25 round to J9 at Leatherhead and then take the A24 to Dorking and you will pass it. (Box Hill is about 2 or 3 miles from J9

2) Make your way to the Sevenoaks area ( this will probably be through Eynsford, Shoreham, Otford etc..) and pick up the A25 and go through all the villages, Westerham, Godstone, Redhill etc... When you get to the A25/A24 roundabout in Dorking turn right and Box Hill will be about a mile on your right.

Option 2 is a much nicer ride but will probably take you about an hour from the Blue Water area.

Is there an evening mid-week rideout once it starts getting lighter?

Well, I just thought I'd say hello. After years of riding Japanese IL4's, I'm collecting my first Ducati from the dealer on March 8th. It's a 1098S and I feel like a kid at Christmas. Anyway, although I won't be able to attend the rideout, I'd really like to tag along on the next one (subject to work, weather, the planets being in alignment and the Gods of motorcycling smiling down on me, etc.)

Incidentially, I live just off the A25 near Oxted so I'm not a million miles away from Boxhill.

Enjoy the rideout on the 8th.

Steven.

I can't make the next one but should be able to make the one after that. We could meet up if you want in Godstone? I'm just up the road from you
