Late (again!!)
Sorry too late, for the meet up in Gordano/Morrisons. So please accept my apologies if you waited too long for us (a traffic car followed me half way across South Wales to the Seven Bridge)
What a fantastic kick off for the event. So many bikes and everything so good humoured.
Lots of Ducati's on show and lots of beautiful people walking around in their best Ducati gear!!!
Didn't get to meet anyone officially like, as it was all a little daunting for a newbie (!) but many people said hello and came and had a look at the bike.
Hopefully have some Carbon and goodies on show by next time......
Steve
PS seeing all the S4R's on show made me a little homesick!!
PPS the Mike Hailwood Replica thoroughly deserved it.
PPPS Did anyone think the KTM RC8 looked like matt orange lego toy?

What time would it be best to get there? Would 8pm be leaving it too late?

It starts at 18:30 and finishes sort of 21:30. It could be used as a event to turn up to, park the bike and have a wander along the sea front with a few like minded individuals, a group of the Ducati riders last night ended up in scallys. Theres loads of places along the sea front to eat, the pier should be open.
So its really up to you and how long you want to stay!!!!

Wheelies
Out of interest who was the 1098 that followed is in for a few ninutes pulled a wheelie and buggered of for a ride round the sea front. One minute I could see the white nose cone and then next your front wheel!!!!!
Just be careful. There will be un-marked police around. Don't let them make a example.

I will try and make the next one; I work just off the Long Ashton by-pass in Bristol so am right by the road really and could go straight from work.
It'll mean giving the poor thing a clean, though!

Not sure if Sadbiker was busy at Weston - but I think he's been promoted to Offical South West Ducatisti photographer based on his fab work in Bristol. Here's the link Andy.
CANON iMAGE GATEWAY
Sadbiker took billions of photos - including ones of me and Dave arriving - mine is now my avatar photo - and the first photo of me moving (albeit slowly) on my Dookatteee.
Thank you that man.
Happy Friday night all.

Damn - Dave and I meant to get a babysitter... He's in London today though - not back until late. I'll put something in the calendar for the others and we'll do our best!
Need to coincide with ducbird too - to see her on her new bike.
Have fun tonight. Enjoy your fish and chips.
