Ladies and Gentlemen...
Last year, some of you may remember, there was a get-together at Jack's Hill cafe followed by a one-hour rideout for those Ducatisti lucky enough to own a SS. Known unofficially as the "Gathering of the Clan", it was an entertaining way to spend half a day in the company of fellow Ducati owners, and put faces to two names of some more of the nice people on this site. And of course, despite the name, all Ducatis were welcome.
So the purpose of this post is to find out what interest there is in doing something similar again.

So...
The proposed date is Sunday August 24th meet 1100 for 1130 start

The plan
is for a meet at a cafe followed by a roughly one-hour rideout ending back at the start point.

The venue

Auntie Ruth's Diner on the A5 at Hinckley
google map here

Open to
Anyone with a Ducati, but especially Supersport riders. (Actually, there were a couple of non-Ducs last time, and that went well so I'd suggest we include those who ask, but I'm happy to leave that decision to the attendees)

If you are interested, please post on this thread and I will summarise from time to time.

Here are some pics from the 2007 gathering

Oh yes Steve!

Will have just got back from Scotland so seems rather appropriate.

Touchdown Cafe at Wellesbourne Airfield. Only trouble is the slow service for cooked food.

Can I suggest another possible meet point? Aunty Ruth's Diner on the A5 at Hinckley. Nice big car park, and decent food and service. May be a bit far for some, though.

Where is "Auntie Ruth's" ? I Used to live in Hinckley can't recall it, the only one I remember on the A5 was the one at High cross X- roads or the old little chef on the Watling Street Island
I would be interested to know for future reference.

Daz, Lissa's lesser half here

It's the old Little Chef. Next to the Ford Garage.

If I'm not holidaying then count me in. Last years meeting was a real hoot.

May have to be on the 916 unless I can finish sorting out the 900.

If it's not p155ing it down, count me in! After the god awful ride to Assen & back a few weeks ago I could do with some nice british roads, corners & a greasy brekkie!!

Dicky - we can meet up to ride over if you want mate?

If its Ruths Diner then the A444 is not far which is a good road, some other nice roads around too, although I will have to familiarise myself with a map. My rideouts are normally heading east.
