The Popham Mega Meet is BACK. Sunday 17th August 2008.

Location - Popham Airfield (6 miles West of Basingstoke off the A303)

Gates open at 10am.

Camping available Saturday night (for those that want it)

This is a great opportunity to get this event back to where it was a couple of years ago (before it clashed with the DSC trackdays). well over a hundred Ducatis attended on those occasions.

So let's make this one to remember.

Directions.

Coming from London M3 take left fork onto A303 just past junction 7. Continue past airfield and take slip road to Micheldever Station to double back other side of A303.

Coming from the West along A303 take slip road for Overton/Micheldever Station, and continue as if going back onto A303.

Coming from Winchester turn left at M3 junction 9 onto A34 then fork right onto A33. Continue until left turn to Micheldever just past Ideal Garage. Follow signs to Overton. Turn right immediately after going under A303 flyover

Looks like we are going to this - AK is having a tidy-up of the garage, stable & also shed to fill up the van, so he'll be taking along quite a few 2nd hand bits of Ducati (and possibly Kwak) stuff to sell.

Should be a big meet - if you look at Dementor's link in his post & scroll down to the bottom to the pic - this is of 2006 and it was heaving with Ducati's that year.
W. M. Snell are having a stand there, so new Ducati's will be on display too.

C, taking her bike along - anyone else?

On the bike??? - cos if you want, AK is taking the van & you could drop anything over earlier in the week or on the Sat for him to take so you dont have to carry anything with you

AK & I will be definately there as AK is doing the 'bike jumble' all day
We got a FULLY loaded van of lots of bits & bobs, inc tyres etc (some even new!) so are hoping to make some dosh to help fund the rest of our seasons racing travelling fund.....
I'm taking my M696 down too, to go onto Snell's stand - so they can bring more bikes from the shop along
If wet, we'll have the race gazebo up - do pop in & say hi - I might even be able to make you a cuppa, unless you can sneak me off for an ice cream
