After the success of our first meeting I've put together another agenda which I hope you can all make.

The ride will take in the excellent B660 going through Kim Bolten and Great Gidding before crossing the A1 onto the B1040 and heading back through Ramsey before stopping for lunch at a really nice pub in the village of Waresley. From there we will work our way down to Sandy and back onto the A1.

This route throws all sorts of bends at you and is huge fun to ride. Bike mags have used this as a test route it's that good.

OK so where to meet up. I think we may be able to temp some of the folk from Northant to join us so I've put in two meeting points.

Meeting point1 10:00 - Tesco @ Welwyn Garden City to get here just go straight up the A1 and take the junction after the Galleria Hatfield swing back over the A1 and it's on the oposite side of the roundabout. Meet at front of store.

Meeting point2 11:30 - Playing field car park on your right just before Mowsbury golf course (B660). The google map link takes you to a road just past this but you can clearly see where I mean.

If you need any more info / direction just ask.

Cheers

am annoyed to be away as Mowsbury meeting point is 10mins from my house.
As has been said B660/645 - be very careful - friend lost his licence between Kimbolton and the A1. Otherwise, enjoy - and get some pics for those unable to make it!

I am quite certain that any place that does bike plates could do a plate stating:

"Mind the child"?! If they do problem solved.

I was more thinking about leaving the child with X person and putting the plate next to it. Or if you a bad father drop him to children hospital with that plate + small note be back at 17:00

Could be up for this. It would be great to ride round my old stomping grounds on a bike that can go round corners.

Also planning to be there. Have had a few tweaks done to the bike since the last meet so shall be interested in what you all think. Shalln't say too much other than "Baines" and "Bora".
Am hoping the guy from London on the Sports Classic (Karl I think) can also make it. I think we all fell in love with his bike last time.
